Remember When Correction:
I am one of 16 great grandchildren of John and Sallie (Diehl) LaRose. My husband Roy and I (forth generation) have owned the rink since 1992.
Morris, my grandfather was 21 years old in 1926. His parents John and Sallie are the founders of LaRose’s.
For a bit of history the original name of the rink was Fun on the Farm LaRose’s Park Roller Rink because is was a farm first (besides being butchers by trade).
The next name of the rink was LaRose’s Skating Rink followed by LaRose’s Garden Roller Rink and then LaRose’s Roller Skating Rink.
