Kutztown Folk Festival to stay virtual for 2021

With temperatures outside beginning to climb higher, the festival season of spring and summer is around the corner. But after essentially being wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, things may not be much different in 2021.

On Tuesday, the Kutztown Folk Festival became one of the first to make a decision, opting to stay virtual for the 2021 festival.

The 72nd annual festival, which is scheduled to take place from June 26 to July 4, will focus on virtual engagement, according to a statement from the festival’s board of directors.
