Portland parents apparently can’t handle cranky kitties. Sunday, March 9 yielded a 911 distress call that immediately went viral simply due to the ludicrousness of the content. Lee Palmer barricaded himself, his girlfriend, and their baby and dog inside a bedroom after their 22-pound Himalayan cat, Lux, apparently “charged” at them. Lux’s violence was not entirely unprovoked; it had scratched the 7-month-old child and was then “kicked in the rear” by Palmer. Then all hell broke loose. When officers arrived, the cat reportedly darted into the kitchen, attempting to flee custody. Listen to the full audio of the 911 call below.
